Memory Village

MAGNOLIA GARDENS understand that individuals with memory impairment, dementia and related memory disorders require special attention to maximize their awareness, independence and functional abilities.  Located within a secure environment, MAGNOLIA GARDENS serves our residents by offering a daily routine of physical, cognitive and social activities.  Although residents reside in this secure area, they are encouraged to participate in the facility’s general activities as well.  Due to the limited attention span of our dementia residents, we provide activities that require limited concentration and provide immediate gratification.  With input from families and friends as to the residents’ likes and dislikes, we try to provide activities that will aid our residents in maintaining their highest level of functioning.

When a family selects MAGNOLIA GARDENS we want to be recognized by not only offering our residents the physical and mental care they require but also equally important is ensuring that our family members receive the support they need.  Each month, a care giver’s support group is held at MAGNOLIA GARDENS to enable our family members and members from the community to come together to discuss their concerns and issues they experience when a loved one is faced with dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease.
